Easter decorations

Täällä ollaan jo ihan pääsiäistunnelmissa ja kohta startataan auto (koiran kera!) ja suunnataan viettämään pitkäperjantaita mökille...

We're on the easter holiday and soon we'll start the car (we also have a dog with us!) and drive to summer cottage so we can spend the good friday there... 

Oon just niinkuin mun äiti - rakastan laittaa kotia. Myös pääsiäisen tuominen meille kotiin oli mulle hurjan tärkeää ja nautinkin koristeiden esille laittamisesta. Pajunkissat kävin hakemassa hyvissä ajoin, ihastelin kaupoissa pääsiäiskoristeita heti kun ne saapui ja valitsin niistä kauneimmat, sain poikaystävän äidiltä rairuohon, ostin parvekkeelle narsisseja ja sain vielä yhdet yllätysnarsissit lisää! Kyllä pääsiäisen tunnelma on kohdillaan meillä kotona.

I'm just like my mom - I love decorating home. Bringing easter into our little home was also very important to me and I enjoyed putting out all the different kinds of decorations. I got the catkins early, wondered through so many boutiques admiring all the easter decorations and of course chose the prettiest ones for us, got an easter grass from my boyfriends mother, bought daffodils for our balcony and then the next day I actually got another bowl of them with a surprise delivery! 

Iso pupu on Pentikin valikoimasta, pieni pupu on Arabian ja vihreä-valkoinen pupu on Indiskasta. Pajunkissoista roikkuvat pääsiäismunat olen ostanut Tigerista ja vaaleanpunainen sekä mintunvihreä kynttilä löytyivät Ikeasta. Loput koristeista ovat vanhoja äidiltäni saamia. 

The big white bunny (holding the egg) is from Pentik, the small one is made by Arabia and the white bunny with green ornaments is from Indiska. The eggs hanging from the catkins are from Tiger and I found the pink candle and mint green candle from Ikea. Other decorations I have are my mother's old ones.  

Kaikki nämä koristeiden kirkkaat värit ja tuo ihana auringonpaiste tuovat mulle keväfiiliksen...

All these pretty colors in these decorations and that lovely sunshine brings me spring vibes...

Meillä on nyt Pääsiäisenä tiedossa ainakin kaksi päivällistä perheen kesken ja se tietää hyvää ruokaa, hyvää seuraa ja rentoa yhdessäoloa ilman kiirettä. En malta odottaa (erityisesti sitä ruoka-puolta). Toivon myös, että saan vielä ainakin yhden kindermunan (tai mitä vaan kinderiä) lisää tänä pääsiäisenä - meikäläisen suklaakiintiö nimittäin ei oo vielä täynnä (tai no ei se kai koskaan oo, ehh). 

We're having at least two dinners with family during the Easter holiday and that means good food, excellent company and just spending time with loved ones without a hurry. I can't wait (especially the food part). I also hope I'm still getting more Kinder eggs (or whatever kinder) as I can still fit in some more chocolate before I get fed up for a while (okay, never getting fed up though).

Living room deco

Noniin, tässä tulee kaikille uteliaille pitkästä aikaa ajantasalla olevat kuvat meidän olohuoneesta. Käännettiin jo ikuisuus sitten sisustus kokonaan ympäri, mutta en oo teille (tai muille) sitä tajunnut näyttää ja moni onkin hämmentynyt meille tullessaan. Tällä hetkellä olohuone on saavuttanut näillä näkymin ainakin hetken pysyvän olomuotonsa! Meidän olohuone osuu silmään heti ensimmäisenä sisään astuttaessa ja siksi haluankin sen antavan vieraalle samantien mahdollisimman kattavan kuvan siitä, miten me täällä asutaan. Meillä tosiaan on Henrin kanssa avokaksio, josta puuttuu seinät + ovet, joten kaikkialta oikeastaan näkyy kaikkialle, mutta sisääntullessa olohuone saa kunnian tehdä ensivaikutelman. En tämän enempää tässä höpötä - kuvat kertoo kaiken oleellisen meidän oloiluhuoneesta! Ps. Oikeesti meilläkään ei aina oo ihan näin siistiä. 

/ I now present you the newest pictures of our living room. We turned the decor around ages ago, but I just haven't taken the pictures earlier (or told anyone..) and people have got really confused when visiting us :D But now the living room has (at least somehow) permanent decor so I decided to show you guys how we live here. Our home is actually just one huge room, as we're missing all walls and doors, so when you walk in from the front door you pretty much see everything - though the living room is first to catch your eye so the decor of it is very important to me. The pictures will show you all you need to know, so enjoy the tour! Ps. We really don't always have this clean home.

Munich part l - Stairs of the Bayerische Staatsoper

Lämpimät terveiset pieneltä kaupunkilomaltamme keväisestä Münchenistä! Ei kerrottu kenellekään, että oltiin lähdössä, jotta sain ihan rauhassa sulatella tulevaa matkaa. Omaksi ja kaikkien muidenkin iloksi kaikki meni tosi hyvin. 

Tällä viikolla on tullut käveltyä niin paljon, että voi hyvällä omatunnolla syödä pääsiäissuklaata. Oltiin varattu pakettimatka, johon kuului lennot + hotelli ja meillä olikin tosi hyvä diili, johon kuului Finnairin suorat lennot. Lentoasemalta tultiin junalla, jonka lippu maksoi n.11€ ja kyseessä oli suora yhteys (n.50min) keskustaan, josta käveltiin hotellille. Mukava yllätys odotti myös hotellilla, jossa ilmoittivat kasuaalisti että meidän on upgreidattu superior-huoneeseen ihan ilmaiseksi. Kyllä kelpas! 

Hotellilta oli n.10 minuutin kävelymatka Marienplatz -nimiselle keskusaukiolle, jonka varrelta löytyi jonkun verran kauppoja ja kahviloita sekä upea St.Michaelin kirkko, jonka kellotornin nuket tanssivat tiettyihin kellonaikoihin joka päivä. Arkkitehtuuri oli tosi kaunista ja mestoilta löytyi useampikin toistaan upeampi kirkko, joissa käytiin myös muutamassa pyörähtämässä sisällä asti. 

Ekana päivänä käveltiin varmaan koko München ympäri, otettiin vaan valokuvia, juotiin kahvit ja nautiskeltiin hyvästä säästä. 

Greetings from our little trip to Munich! We didn't tell anybody that we were going, so I got the chance to think about the upcoming trip in peace. Luckily everything went really well. 

We had straight flights from Helsinki with Finnair, and we caught a train from the Airport to the citycenter. The trainticket costed about 11 euros and it was straight connection which took about 50 minutes. It was a pleasant suprise, as we walked into our hotel, they told us that we've been upgraded for free to a superior room. Such happiness! 

We've been walking so much this week that my legs are sore as... but at least I can now eat some easter chocolate :D It took about 10 minutes to walk to the central square named Marienplatz, which had few cafes and shops along the way and St.Michaels church. Architecture was absolutely beautiful, especially all the churches which few of them we visited inside too.  On the first day we mainly just walked around Munich the whole day and enjoyed the beautiful weather! 

Nämä kuvat on ekalta päivältä, jolloin oli ihana auringonpaiste ja oltiin jo kahdeksan jälkeen liikkeellä.  Kun ei tuullut, oli oikeasti tosi lämmin. Säät suosivat muutenkin ja oli niin ihanaa, kun kadut olit kuivat, muutama puu oli jo kukassa ja siellä täällä näkyi krookuksia ja puissa lehtiä!  Nämä kuvat otettiin oopperatalon portailla, kuten otsikostakin käy ilmi. Olisin halunnut ostaa meille liput näytökseen, mutta kaikki oli loppuunmyyty. Ens kerralla sitten :-) 

Mitä mieltä ootte asusta?

These pictures are from our first day, when the sun was shining and it actually felt like spring when it wasn't windy. It got quite warm at one point! The weather was good, and I loved how there was already dry streets (yayyy white shoes are were back in game!), some flowers, leaves on some trees and we even saw flowers on a cherry tree! These pictures were taken on the stairs of the Opera house, as you can see from the caption. I wanted to buy as tickets for opera, but all the shows were sold out. Maybe next time then :-)
