- Make your home smell like Christmas

Tarvitset omenoita ja/tai appelsiineja sekä kokonaisia neilikoita. Niitä löytyy suurehkojen ruokakauppojen maustehyllyltä. 

Minä valitsin isot punaiset omenat, jotka väriltäänkin tuovat joulun tunnelmaa. Ota esim keittiöpyyhe + leikkuulauta alustaksi ja pistele neilikoita hedelmiin. Ne uppoavat helposti pehmeän kuoren läpi, mutta murenevat helposti, joten keittiöpyyhe alla helpottaa siivoamista. Kun olet pistellyt omasta mielestäni tarpeeksi neilikoita ja olet jo aivan huumaantunut tuoksusta, voit halutessasi vielä koristella kaikki hedelmät tai yhden niistä kauniilla nauhalla. Asettele kauniisti esille ja nauti joulun tuoksusta! 

/ You'll need apples and/or oranges and fresh whole carnation.

I chose big red apples as they bring me christmassy feeling. You can have a kitchen towel and a cutting board where you place the fruits and carnation and then start pushing the carnation one by one into the fruits. They go easily through the soft peel but break easily so the mess is easier to clean when having the towel covering your table. When the fruits are full of carnation and you're already dazed by the wonderful scent - make a beautiful setting on a tray (or other) and if you want, you can decor one or all the fruits with some beautiful ribbon. Enjoy the smell of Christmas!
